How to use this tool

  1. Add readable PDFs and connect your own provider/key in AI settings. For scans, run searchable PDF/OCR first.
  2. Ask a question beside the PDF preview. Answers appear as they arrive; you can stop a response or ask a follow-up.
  3. Choose a page range to keep requests focused. It applies to every checked PDF. Check cited pages against the originals; provider processing and charges belong to your account.
  4. Conversation text stays in session memory. Changing the selected PDFs or clearing the conversation starts fresh. Only completed answers are used as follow-up context.
Where are my files processed?

The badge shows the selected processing location. Local jobs stay on this device. Cloud jobs require the cloud option and use temporary storage.

How do I save the result?

When the tool finishes, preview the result and use Download. Your original files stay unchanged. Use ZIP to save a batch together.

How do I clear my workspace?

Use Privacy & local data in the sidebar. AI keys can be forgotten separately from AI settings.
