About Edit PDF

Visually edit existing text and PDF elements, add images and shapes, and create new pages.

What you can use

PDF, PNG, JPG, JPEG, WEBP

Processing

Browser processing is available for this tool. Check the badge if you choose a cloud job. Local jobs stay on your device. Cloud copies expire within one hour or are removed when the job is acknowledged. File privacy and retention.

A practical example

Open a sample PDF, move an existing element, update its text, add an image and a new page, then preview and save a separate copy.

Before you share the result

PDFs with flattened scans or nested artwork may contain one combined object rather than separate editable words or parts. Longer text replacements do not automatically reflow nearby content.

Can I edit words inside a scanned photo?

Image-only words are not editable text objects. OCR can extract their wording, but cannot reconstruct the original editable layout. You can add new text or move the page image as one element.
